Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Ecotoxicological information

Toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae

Administrative data

Endpoint:
toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae
Type of information:
migrated information: read-across based on grouping of substances (category approach)
Adequacy of study:
other information
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
Peer reviewed data. Results from the static-renewal portion of the study were accepted. pH in the static test reached an equilibrium value of 7.2. At this pH and at the test hardness of 300 mg/L CaCO3, chemical speciation modeling indicated that precipitation of NiCO3 was possible. Results from the static test were therefore rejected.
