Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 3 (oxidising solids) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The maximum mean burning rate taken for the mass loss from 20 % to 80 % for the test item Basisches Kupferzinknitrat with cellulose (4:1) is 0.51 g/s, which is greater than the maximum mean burning rate of the reference mixture with the calcium peroxide-cellulose-ratio 1:2 (0.34 g/s), but lower than the maximum mean burning rate of the reference mixture with the calcium peroxide-cellulose-ratio 1:1 (1.04 g/s). Due to the test results, the test item has to be classified as oxidizing solid as follows:
UN Transport Regulation: The test item has to be classified as oxidizing solid in Packing Group III of Class 5, Division 5.1 according to the UN Transport Regulation.
GHS and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation), Annex I: 2.14: The test item has to be classified as oxidizing solid of Category 3 according to GHS and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation) Annex I: 2.14 and has to be marked with the Signal Word “Warning” as well as the Hazard Statement “H272: May intensify fire: oxidizer”.
