Description of key information

NOEC (21d, reproduction rate): 5 mg/l

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The influence of the test substance on the reproduction and survival rate of Daphnia magna was investigated in a 21 day semi-static test. The test animals were exposed to nominal concentrations in the range 0.078 mg/l to 20 mg/l. The protocol followed the OECD Guideline 202, Part II.

The NOEC- and LOEC-values for reproduction rate were found to be 5 mg/l and between 5 mg/l and 20 mg/l, respectively.

The EC 50 value of the reproduction rate was found to be between 5 mg/l and 20 mg/l after 9 days up to the end of the test.
