Description of key information

The chronic toxicity of the analogue substance 2 moles ethoxylated bisphenol A dimethacrylate, EC 939-702-5, to Danio rerio was determined in flow-through test performed in accordance with the OECD 210 test guideline and GLP requirements. The test was conducted with a range of five concentrations ranging from 0.95 to 100 µg test item/L (nominal; TWA measured concentrations ranged from 0.412 to 65.6 µg/L), with the aid of a vehicle (DMF, 100 µL/L).

 

 

No significant effects on mortality, body length or weight were detected up to the limit highest tested concentration, which is representative of the water solubility limit of the UVCB. The 34d-NOEC was equal to or greater than 65.6 µg/L (geometric mean of measured concentrations).
