Description of key information

The effect loading rate value obtained for an analogue after 96h of exposure (LL50 > 100 mg/L) was used to fill by read across the endpoint "Short-term toxicity to fish".

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A study assessing the toxicity of Ethoxylated bisphenol A diacrylate (EC 701-362-9) to freshwater fish (Danio rerio) was used as a worst case to fill by read-across the endpoint "Short-term toxicity to fish" of the test item. The effect loading rate value after 96h of exposure was thus LL50 > 100 mg/L. The use by read-across of this data was supporting by a study assessing the toxicity of another analogue, 2 moles ethoxylated bisphenol A dimethacrylate (EC 939-702-5), on the same freshwater fish. The effect loading rate value after 96h of exposure was also LL50 > 100 mg/L.
