Terrestrial arthropods and soil microorganisms studies:
According to REACH Regulation Annex IX 9.4 column 2, these studies do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. This substance is used as a solvent in the preparation of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. And the CSR shows terrestrial RCR of <0.1. So for the exposure considerations, these studies can be waived.
