EFFECT PARAMETERS MEASURED (with observation intervals if applicable) :
The fish were inspected and recorded once a day for mortality and other observed effects. Dead fish were removed when observed and the feeding rate was adjusted.
Total hardness was measured in the controls and one vessel at the highest concentration once during the test.
Measurements of pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature were carried out before and after each renewal.

Details on results:
- Test concentration: In the test, the measured values were within ± 20% of the mean concentrations in each replicate.
- Body weight: In the test, the body weights of the test fish increased in all groups.
- - Growth rate: The specific growth rate of the 95.0 mg/L and 196 mg/L treatment groups were significantly lower than that of the control (p<0.05), the specific growth rate of other treatment groups were not significantly different from that of the control.
- Mortality and abnormality: During the test, there were no mortality and abnormality on fish in treatment groups.
Reported statistics and error estimates:
To determine the lowest observed effect concentration (LOEC) and the no observed effect concentration (NOEC), the variances among the means of the specific growth rate in all groups was analyzed by one-way ANOVA and the mean of treatment groups was compared with the control group using Bonferroni t test. The data treatment was carried out with software TOXCALC (v5.0.26). The results were expressed as geometic mean average of measured concentration of solutions.
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The no observed effect concentration (NOEC) was 50.7 mg/L and the lowest observed effect concentration (LOEC) was 95.6 mg/L (expressed as the geometric mean measured concentration of test solutions).
Executive summary:
