Irritant / corrosive response data:
Mean score of eye reactions were as follows; [1101(Cornea opacity : 1.0, Conjunctivae
redness : 1.0, Chemosis swelling : 0.3), 1102(Cornea opacity : 2.0, Conjunctivae
redness : 1.0, Chemosis swelling : 1.0), 1103(Cornea opacity : 2.0, Conjunctivae

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 1 (irreversible effects on the eye) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
Mean score of eye reactions were as follows; [1101(Cornea opacity : 1.0, Conjunctivae
redness : 1.0, Chemosis swelling : 0.3), 1102(Cornea opacity : 2.0, Conjunctivae
redness : 1.0, Chemosis swelling : 1.0), 1103(Cornea opacity : 2.0, Conjunctivae
redness : 1.0, Chemosis swelling : 1.0)].
According to the criteria for the evaluation of eye reactions specified by the Globally
Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals(GHS), the present
observation provides it caused severe eye irritation. LiFSI was classified as "Category 1"
on this study.
