Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test substance was tested at a nominal concentration of 20 mg organic carbon/L (corresponding to 32.6 mg test substance/L) in test medium following OECD 301B and EU-Method C.4 -C.

Aniline was chosen as positive control. Activated sludge was used as inoculum (concentration in the test 25.0 mg dry matter/L). The test was left running for 28 d. All validity criteria were met. Degradation of the positive control was 80% after 9 d. No inhibitory effect on the sludge bacteria was observed at the toxicity control samples. Under the study conditions, the no effect concentration of the test substance to sludge bacteria was determined to be greater than 32.6 mg/L (Laus, 2018).
