Description of key information

The substance has a low organic carbon-water partitioning coefficient and is considered as very mobile in soil and sediment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The organic carbon-water partitioning coefficient of the test item FAT 40849/A TE was studied in a valid GLP study in accordance with EU Method C.19 using the HPLC method. The retention time of the test item was shorter than that of the reference substance with the shortest retention time. It was hence concluded that the Koc of FAT 40849/A TE was below 18 and the log Koc was < 1.25.
