Description of key information

The auto ignition temperature of Ca-/Mg-salt of Fumarated Oil Rosin dissolved in toluene is specified as 420 °C when tested according to DIN 51794.
The barometric pressure was 1012 hPa at the time of the test runs.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
420 °C

Additional information

As relevant for classification and labeling this test was performed with a usual solution containing 45% toluene.Concluding this flash point reflects the properties of toluene rather than of Ca-/Mg-salt of fumarated Tall Oil Rosin.
