Description of key information

Daphnia magna were exposed for 48 h under static conditions towards several concentartions yielding an EL50(48 h) of 31.1 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
31.1 mg/L

Additional information

The results are expressed in terms of Effective Loadings (EL / NOEL) at 72 h of exposure. As the test item consists of a multitude of components and no information about the correlation between molecular weight and the structural formula of the test item are available, Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) was used to test effects at effective loading of 100 mg/L and no specific analysis was performed. The content of the test item during the exposure period was verified by DOC determination.
