- Justification:
The 'P' criteria for Octopirox are NOT fulfilled (Half-life of Octopirox in fresh and marine water is < 15d and < 50d).
The 'B' criteria for Octopirox are NOT fulfilled as the measured Log Kow of 3.86 is < 4.5. In addition the estimated BCF for fish and worm (131 L/kg ww and 96 L/kg ww) are lower than the BCF >= 2000 criteria.
The 'T' criteria for Octopirox based on the lowest aquatic (chronic) toxicity result is NOT fulfilled as the toxicity value of 0.13 mg/L is above the chronic toxicity criteria of 0.01 mg/L for the aquatic compartment.
Octopirox is neither 'P' nor 'B' nor 'T' according the vPvB criteria of the REACH Legislation 2006/1907/EEC and is therefore neither a vPvB nor a PBT substance.
