Description of key information

The key study provided indicated no risk to aquatic invertebrates as the derived EC50 was >1000 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
1 000 mg/L

Additional information

A single key study is provided which concluded that Propoxylated neopentyl glycol

was not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna at nominal concentrations up to 1000 mg/L. The 48h-LC50 was therefore considered to be >1000 mg/L. NOEC 1000 mg/L.
