Description of key information

In a static acute toxicity test with green algae (Scenedesmus subspicatus) over 72 hours inhibition of the biomass was observed. The 72h EC50 was determined to be greater than 500 mg/L, the NOEC is 500 mg/L.

Additional information

In a static study the acute toxicity of the test item with green algae (Scenedesmus subspicatus) was determined. Algae were exposed over a 72-hour period to a range of 8 concentrations: 3.9, 7.8, 15.625, 31.25, 62.5, 125, 250, 500 mg/L and an untreated control. The study procedure was based on the OECD guideline 201. Results (on the basis of the nominal concentrations): EC50 after 72 hours >500 mg/L, NOEC: 500 mg/L.
