Description of key information

In a static acute toxicity test with Daphnia magna (Waterflea) over 48 hours no mortality or reduced ability to swim was observed. The 48h EC50 was determined to be greater than 500 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a static study the acute toxicity of the test item with Daphnia magna (Straus) was determined. Daphnia were exposed over a 48-hour period to a range of 4 concentrations: 62.5, 125, 250, 500 mg/L and an untreated control. The study procedure was based on the EU guideline C2. Results (on the basis of the nominal concentrations): EC50 after 96 hours >500 mg/L, EC0: 500 mg/L.
