Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From 30 July 2018 to 1 August 2018
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling Point)
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Boiling pt.:
> 400 °C

101.325 kPa
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
ca. 220 °C

Evaporation, reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance were observed during heating: boiling of CR SR94 was not observed below the temperature at which evaporation, reaction and/or decomposition started.

Conclusions:
According to OECD 103, the boiling temperature of CR SR94 is >400 degree.
Executive summary:

The determination of the boiling temperature of CR SR94 was performed in accordance with OECD 103. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used. Evaporation, reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance were observed during heating: boiling of CR SR94 was not observed below the temperature at which evaporation, reaction and/or decomposition started.

Description of key information

The boiling temperature of CR SR94 is > 400 ℃.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
