Reference
Two DSC-runs in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed an endothermic effect (melting) in the temperature range 50 - 70 °C with an onset temperature of 51 °C. The onset temperature is derived from the intersection of the tangent line with the highest slope of the endothermic peak with the baseline.
The test item has a mean melting point of 51.4 °C.
