Description of key information

The density of FBSEE diol was determined to be 1.75 g/cm3 at 20 °C (EU Method A.3).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the key study, a gas comparison pycnometer was used for the determination of the density of FBSEE diol . The study was conducted in accordance with EU Method A.3 using an automated instrument and was GLP compliant; therefore the study is considered reliable without restrictions. In a supporting study, density of FBSEE diol was determined to be 1.58 g/mL at 76.6 °C and 1.56 g/mL at 110 °C by weighing molten material in a certified 10-mL graduated cylinder. Because no guideline or method was listed in the report, the result is considered reliable with restrictions.
