First-aid measures

- General advice:

First-aid measures general: In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

- Following inhalation:

First-aid measures after inhalation: if breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.

- Following skin contact:

First-aid measures after skin contact: wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician.

- Following eye contact:

First-aid measures after eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.

- Following ingestion:

First-aid measures after ingestion: never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.

- Most important symptoms and effects: Causes skin irritation. Causes eye irritation. May cause respiratory irritatation.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide

Emits harmful fumes under fire conditions: carbon oxides (CO, CO2)

- Advice for fire fighter: Wear Self contained breathing apparatus and protective gloves

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:, Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

For non-emergency personnel. Use personal protective equipment. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid breathing dust.  

For emergency responders. Wear an appropriate respirator if dust is generated  

- Environmental precautions:

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Sweep up dans shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

Protective measures: avoid contact with skin and eyes. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Normal measures for preventive fire protection.

Advice on general occupational hygiene: avoid dust formation. Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
