Description of key information

In accordance with EU A4 Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex, Official Journal of the European Union L142/1, vapour pressure is measured using a modified static method (OECD Guidelines for The Testing of Chemicals, 104, March 23, 2006). The modification being that a direct reading MKS Baritron Capacitance Manometer Model 628C was substituted for the mercury manometer in the method. Water bath temperature was measured using a NIST traceable digital thermometer readable to 0.1° (Certificate # A247308, retest date 11-21-2018).

Vapour pressure of the test substance was determined at 4 temperatures:

10 °C:       586.5 Pa

21.1°C:     959.8 Pa

50 °C:       1493.0 Pa

80 °C:       2066.2 Pa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
959.8 Pa
at the temperature of:
21.1 °C
