Results

Preliminary Test (non GLP)

The solubility was determined to be in the range of 2.06 - 4.12 g/L; no Tyndall-effect was observed at 2.06 g/L. For the application dose for the definitive study, approx. 20 g/L, as ca. the fivefold of the maximum solubility result, was used.

1) Mean value of double injections, dilution factor of 200 and exact weights taken into account

2) Calculated according to the formula:

Deviation (%) =100 x (max value – min value)

                                      min value

Mean pH value = 4.7

Conclusions:
A water solubility value of 3.90 g/L (at 20 °C, pH 4.7) was determined for the test substance according to E.U. Method A.6.
