Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation - Provide fresh air. Seek medical attention if discomfort occurs.
Ingestion - Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical attention.
Skin Contact - Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with water. Get medical attention.
Eye Contact - Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide apart. Rinse with water. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media - Use as appropriate, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical or foam.
Unsuitable etinguishing media - Do not use water jet as an extinguisher as this may spread the fire.
Specific hazards - In case of fire, toxic fumes like carbon monoxide and carbon monoxide may be liberated.
Special protective equipment for for fighters - Wear full protective clothing suitable for surroundings.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions - Provide adequate ventilation.
Avoid contact wth skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapours.
Environmental precautions - Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground.
Methods for cleaning up - Absorb with liquid binding material (e.g sand, diatomaceous earth, acid or universal binding agents). Collect in closed and suitable containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Usage precautions
- Apply good manufacturing practice and industrial hygiene practices.
- Minimise number of workers exposed.
- Minimise manual handling.
- Avoid contact with contaminated tools and equipment.
- Segregate emission processes.
- Do not transport with/using compressed air;
- Avoid splashing / contact with skin or eyes;
- Fill only into labelled container;
- Use solvent resistant utensils;
- Apply good standard of general ventilation (>3 ACH).
- Keep coontainers sealed when ot in use.
- Provide adequate ventilation. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.
Advice on general occupational hygiene
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling and before eating, drinking or using the bathroom.
- Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Storage precautions
- Store in tightly closed, original container in a dry, cool and well ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
General protective and hygienic measures:
- Use personal protective equipment depending on concentration and of hazardous substance.
- Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
- Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Store contaminated material in air-tight container
- Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Apply fatty skin-care products after washing.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Eye protection:
- Faceshield or safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166.
Hand Protection:
- Wear chemical resistant gloves
• Nitrile rubber/Nitrile latex - NBR (0.35 mm)
• Fluoro carbon rubber - FKM (0.4 mm)
Skin and body protection:
- Wear apron or Impervious clothing. Flame retardant antistatic protective clothing. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection: - Generally unnecessary in a well ventilated area. If ventilation is insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn (halffaced or full-faced mask with ABEK filter). If the respirator is the sole means of protection use a full-face supllied air respirator.
Hygiene Measures: - Good personal hygiene procedures should be implemented.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable when stored as directed.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidising agents, strong acids, strong bases.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid heat, sparks and open flames. A range from approximatically 15 Kelving below the flash point is to be rated as critical.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of in accordance to all local and national regulations.
