Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Key study

In a non-GLP but OECD 104 guideline similar study the vapour pressure was determined in a vapour pressure balance and gas saturation method.

The regression of the results leads with a mean deviation of 2.90 % to the following equation:

ln(p/bar) = 17.7456 - 8588.18 / (273.15 + t/°C)

The vapour pressure at 20 °C was calculated from the regression equation.

The vapour pressure was calculated to be 0.0096 hPa at 20 °C.

Supporting studies

In the supporting study BASF AG-BRU 95.402 the vapour pressure was also calculated by the regression of the experimental results to be 0.0088 hPa at 20°C. In the supporting study BRU 93.212 the vapour pressure was determined to be 1 hPa at 76.27 °C.
