Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Following inhalation: Remove to fresh air
- Following skin contact: Wash with soap and water. May cause an allergic skin reaction. In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician. Avoid contact with UV and sunlight
- Following eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids. Consult a physician
- Following ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water
- Most important symptoms and effects: Itching. Rashes. Hives
Fire-fighting measures
Small Fire: Dry chemical, CO2 or water spray.
Large Fire: Alcohol resistant foam. Water spray.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Product is or contains a sensitizer. May cause sensitization by skin contact
- Advice for fire fighter: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full firefighting turnout gear. Use personal protection equipment
Accidental release measures
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protection recommended in “Exposure controls / personal protection” section
- Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system

Methods for containment: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods for cleaning up: Take up mechanically, placing in appropriate containers for disposal.
Prevention of secondary hazards: Clean contaminated objects and areas thoroughly observing environmental regulations.
Handling and storage
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Store locked up. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not store at temperatures above 40 °C (104 °F). Keep away from heat. Protect from sunlight. Store in a well-ventilated place. Product may crystallize. If needed, heat at maximum 60°C and stir.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles)
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves. Nitrile rubber. Gloves should be replaced regularly and if there is any sign of damage to the glove material
Skin and body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing
Respiratory protection: No protective equipment is needed under normal use conditions. If exposure limits are exceeded or irritation is experienced, ventilation and evacuation may be required
