Description of key information
A study was performed according to EU method C.10. The hydrolysis of the test substance Reactive Blue FC 15353 as a function of the pH was measured. The test substance showed < 10 % hydrolysis after 5 days at pH 7 and 50 °C.

Hydrolysis of the test substance Reactive Blue FC 15353 was measured in phosphate buffered aqueous solution with pH 7 at 50 °C. The study was performed within a time frame of 5 days. The test substance showed a hydrolysis of < 10%.
The substance is a dye which had to pass several tests like hot wash at a broad pH range (8.6-2.5) and the DIN 53160 test to show that the dye is not degraded by human sweat.
