Description of key information

First orientating tests determined that the water solubility of the test material is dependent on the concentration. The test substance showed water solubility of up to 8 g/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
8 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The test substance showed a reduced solubility if the concentration of the test substance was increased. As explanation for this behavior the release of counter-ions and subsequent precipitation was proposed. The upper level of water solubility could not be determined, but the test substance showed water solubility of up to 8.5 g/L at 20°C. The value quoted is a maximum. Solubility depends on salt content.
