100 mg/L

Additional information

One experimental study according to OECD 209 (GLP) is available investigating the toxicity of the test substance to activated sludge microorganisms (Spoo-Klöppel, 2015). The study was performed as a limit test with a concentration of 100 mg/L and activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant treating predominantly domestic sewage. Test solutions were prepared by adding an appropriate amount of the test substance to the test vessel followed by stirring for 17 h and adjustment of pH to 7.1 - 7.4. After 3 h of incubation no inhibition of the respiration rate was recorded resulting in an EC10/EC50 (3 h) > 100 mg/L. Thus, no inhibition of the degradation process in conventional sewage treatment plants is anticipated.
