One experimental study according to OECD 301F indicated that the substance is not readily biodegradable according to the OECD criteria but can be classified as “inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling specific criteria” (45 % degradation after 28 d). Further degradation studies are not deemed necessary since the Chemical Safety Assessment according to Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 does not indicate the need for further investigations.
