PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
PBT assessment does not apply
Justification:

The test substance is not readily biodegradable in an O.E.C.D. test guideline study with only approximately 0.1% biodegradation during the 28 day contact period. Therefore, the substance is considered to be persistent "P". With an experimental Log Pow of 3.84 the substance has low potential to bioaccumulate in the aquatic compartment and therefore is not "B". With the lowest acute aquatic LC50 value of 11.5 mg/l for rainbow trout after 96 hr of exposure in an O.E.C.D. 203 study the substance is not toxic, "T".

Likely routes of exposure:

The dermal route of exposure is the most likely one for the workforce.
