Additional information

The test substance, 4,4'-Isopropylidenedicyclohexanol, oligomeric reaction products with 1 -chloro-2,3 -epoxypropane, was not an eye irritant in the in vitro O.E.C.D. 437 BCOP test and the O.E.C.D. test guideline 402 rabbit eye irritation study.

The test substance was not a skin irritant in the O.E.C.D test guideline 404 rabbit study. Furthermore, the test substance was not irritating to the skin of rats in an O.E.C.D.402 Acute Dermal study with a prolonged exposure time of 24 hours.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification of the test substance as an irritant is not required based upon the outcome of the required in vitro and animal tests.
