Description of key information

The experimental Henrys Law constant is 2.20E +003Pa m³/mol at 25°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
2 200
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The Henry's Law constant of acetylene has been calculated by QSAR modelling recommended by ECHA (2008) Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment R7a Endpoint specific guidance. The calculated values (Henrywin v 3.2, USEPA 2008) indicate that volatilisation from water is expected to occur at a rapid rate. An experimental Henry's Law constant has been provided by EPISuite v4.0 based on vapour pressure and water solubility.
