Additional information

One key study and four supporting studies conducted according to OECD guideline 203 showed that the nominal LC50 value is between 1 and 10 mg/l. In a fifth supporting study conducted in accordance with DIN 38 412 a LC50 value of 10 – 22 mg/l is reported. The reported NOEC’s are between 1 and 2.5 mg/l in the OECD studies and 10 mg/l in the DIN study.

The key value for chemical safety assessment, reported in the key study, is a 96-hour LC50 value of 3 mg/l. A lower LC50 value of 1.4 mg/l, reported in one supporting study is not used for chemical safety assessment because the composition and purity is not reported in this study.
