Key result
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
>= 350 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Reaction and/or decomposition of the substance was observed starting at a temperature of 350°C (623K)
Conclusions:
The boiling temperature of Blown rapeseed oil was determined using DSC. Reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance was observed starting at temperatures ≥ 350°C (≥ 623K). Boiling of the test substance was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the test substance has no boiling temperature.

Description of key information

The boiling temperature of Blown rapeseed oil was determined using DSC.  Reaction and/or decomposition was observed starting at temperatures ≥ 350°C (≥ 623K). Boiling was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the substance has no boiling temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
