Description of key information

No acute effects on daphnia.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The study by Thompson (2005) showed no acute effects on daphnia up to 5.1 mg/L for a C20 -C30 liquid LCCP, well in excess of the water solubility limit of the substance. Two studies of a C18 -C20 liquid LCCP also showed no effects at or below the water solubility limit for LCCP.
