Description of key information

The boiling point was determined according to the Siwoloboff method.
The boiling point of terpinolene multiconstituent is 184°C +/- 5°C at 985 hPa .

Key study conducted according to OECD Guideline No.103 and EU Method A.2. The Siwoloboff method recommended for pure substances and mixtures in the OECD guideline does not allow to determine a boiling point range. It allows to approximate the boiling point of the main constituents with the lowest boiling point. This is considered as acceptable for the purpose of REACH registration. The result is thus scientifically acceptable but not obtained under GLP. A reliability of 2 (reliable with restrictions) is assigned to the study and the obtained value is used as key value for the chemical safety assessment.
