Description of key information

The dynamic viscosity was determined with a rotational viscometer.
The substance is considered as a Newtonian fluid. The dynamic viscosity of terpinolene multiconstituent at a constant shear rate of 583 s-1 is 1.89 mPa.s at 20°C and 1.25 mPa.s at 40°C.
Terpinolene multiconstituent is classified for Aspiration Toxicity Category 1 (may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) criteria and Harmful (R65 May cause lung damage if swallowed) according to Directive 67/548/EEC.

Additional information

Key study conducted according to 114 Guideline No. 114.

The result is scientifically acceptable but not obtained under GLP. Therefore a reliability of 2 (reliable with restrictions) was assigned.

A supporting study with a consistent result confirms the key study value.
