Description of key information

15708-41-5, EDTAFeNa,
End point is waived:The substance does not melt under the decomposition temperature of 211°C.The vapour pressure will be low. EDTN (the precursor of EDTA) has a sufficiently low vapour pressure and, derived from its structure, is more volatile than EDTA-FeNa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

See: 5766-67-6, Vapour pressure, Tunink, 2008, EDTN (CAS# 5766 -67 -6): Vapor Pressure Determination by the Gas Saturation Method, rs

5766-67-6 EDTN

Based on experimental results in this report: the substance has a vapor pressure of < 4.20 E10 -4 Pa (3.15 E10 -6 torr) at 25°C.
