Description of key information

In the 2013 study the substance was determined to be only partially soluble. From 1g substance in 1L water 78mg/L are dissolved, from 10g substance in 1L water 331mg are dissolved.

In the 2021 study the water solubility was determined to be between 37.9 and 203.4 mg/L for a sample size of 1 g/L and 10 g/L respectively.

The solubility in water is not a constant but increases with the mass of test item applied in the experiment. This is because the test item is a UVCB. Every constituent contributes to a different degree to overall solubility, depending on its own individual solubility and its mass fraction in the test item. Therefore, results depend on the proportions of test item and water used in the respective experiment.
