Description of key information

After evaporation or exposure to the air, the product will be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

An AOP v1.92 calculation (BASF SE 2010a) is available for the estimation of the photodegradation in the atmosphere. For this calculation a 24 -hour day as well as a sensitizer-concentration (OH-radicals) of 500 000 molecules/cm³ were assumed. The calculated rate constants of 119E-12 cm³/molecule-sec (for the Cis-isomer) and 135E-12 cm³/molecule-sec (for the Trans-isomer) result in half-lifes in the atmosphere of 3.2 hours (Cis-isomer) and 2.8 hours (Trans-isomer).
