There are many studies available that investigate acute toxicity after parental exposure. Based on all available data the authors discuss the following LD50 values:

LD50 (i.p.)approx. 350 mg/kg for rats and approx. 619 mg/kg for mice; LD50 (s.c.) for mice approx. 1150 mg/kg and LD50(i.v.) for dogs approx. 200 mg/kg
