Principles of method if other than guideline:
RM-Freetext: Groups of 6 rats (not fasted) each received 0, 1, 3 or 10 mg/kg CHA per os. 1, 2, 4, and 6 hours after application blood was collected from the retro-orbital venous plexus and blood glucose determined. The same procedure was applied to fasted rats. Blood glucose was not different from control values for both fasted and not-fasted rats.
