Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

Responses to the positive control substance hexyl cinnamic aldehyde (HCA), in contemporaneous studies (Appendix 2) demonstrate the reliability and sensitivity of this assay to detect skin sensitization potential in this laboratory.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
In this assay the test/control ratios obtained for 10, 25 and 50% v/v were 0.5, 0.9 and 1.5 respectively which indicates that M3MC-Carboxylate did not show the potential to induce skin sensitization (delayed contact hypersensitivity)
