Description of key information

Calculated log Pow= 10.2

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A preliminary estimation of the partition coefficient was performed using the atom/fragment contribution (AFC) method of W. Meylan and P. Howard\ A computer program, KOWWIN^ version 1.66, which utilizes the AFC method was to calculate the n-octanol / water partition coefficient for test item. The partition coefficient was estimated to be 10.15.

This value was outside the range (log Pow= 0 to 6) for experimental determination of the partition coefficient using the HPLC Method and, therefore, an experimental value was not determined.
