Remarks on result:
other: mean of two measurements
Details on results:
Reference solutions were measured in the spectrophotometer in quantitative mode, thus generating a calibration curve smooth and linear at every concentration. Two measurement were performed, at 24 and after 48 hs. Measured results were the following:Final test at 24h: 409.85 g/LFinal test at 48h: 412.17 g/L

Preliminary solubility test: Reference samples and extract were first measured in the range 190 / 800 nm, so as to choose the right wavelength for quantitative measurements. Wavelength chosen: 288.50 nm.

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results: very soluble (> 10000 mg/L). The tested substance is considered very soluble (water solubility = 411.28 g/L)
Executive summary:

Water solubility was determined by OECD Guideline 105 (Water solubility), adopted 27.05.95.

A preliminary solubility test was performed: a preliminary solution was prepared.

1.5 mL of the saturated solution was taken from this solution and separated by centrifugation. The supernanatant was weighed and dissolved with double distilled water in 100 mL, keeping the solution for 1 h in a thermostatic bath at 20°C, then adjusting volume.

Reference samples and extract were first measured in the range 190 / 800 nm, so as to choose the right wavelength for quantitative measurements. The Wavelength chosen was 288.50 nm.

Two measurements were performed on the final solution, at 24 and after 48 hs.

Final test at 24h: 409.85 g/L

Final test at 48h: 412.71 g/L

The tested substance is considered soluble (water solubility = 411.28 g/L, mean)
