According to the REACH Regulation (EC) n. 1907/2006 Annex 7, Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted for solids which either melt above 300°C or decompose before boiling. The boiling point analysis was performed according to internationally accepted testing procedures, using the Differential Scanning Calorimetry method for the analysis. The test substance does not boil but decompose: the DSC heating curve shows an endothermic peak, due to solvent evaporation, from 135 to 191 °C, (onset: 145.5 °C, Enthalpy = -37.4 J/g) followed by an exothermic peak, due to the decomposition of the product, from 303 to 415 °C (onset: 334.0 °C, enthalpy = 161.8 J/g).
