Additional information

The test substance is stable to hydrolysis under environmental conditions. Based on its physical-chemical properties (high volatility and low potential for sorption to soil and sediment), perfluoroethane will partition to the air compartment. Water, soil, and sediment are not considered environmentally relevant compartments. Therefore, biodegradability assessment is not applicable and perfluoroethane would be viewed as not P and not vP.
