Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Thermal decomposition > 190 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
350 °C

Additional information

The melting point of the substance has been determined with DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) and TGA (Thermal gravimetric analysis) and the result showed the thermal decomposition in connection with the loss of the mass starting at the temperature of 190°C. The enthalpy of the decomposition between 210°C and 400°C is 280 J/g.

No endothermic peak corresponding to melting and boiling of the test substance was recorded in the tested temperature range from 25 °C to 600 °C. The melting point indicated in the key value for chemical safety assessment has been estimated by Epiwin.
