Executive summary:

The auto flammability of the Reaction mass of 2-[2-(benzoyloxy)ethoxy]ethyl benzoate, 1 -[2 -(benzoyloxy)propoxy]propan-2 -yl benzoate, and 2-[2-[2-(benzoyloxy)ethoxy]ethoxy]ethyl benzoate has been found to be >400 °C at 101.41-101 .76 kPa.

Description of key information

EU Method A.15 (Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases)) (Tremain S.P. and Atwal S.S., 2010)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
400 °C

Additional information

The auto flammability of the Reaction mass of 2-[2-(benzoyloxy)ethoxy]ethyl benzoate, 1 -[2 -(benzoyloxy)propoxy]propan-2 -yl benzoate, and 2-[2-[2-(benzoyloxy)ethoxy]ethoxy]ethyl benzoate has been found to be >400 °C at 101.41-101.76 kPa.

The key value given above has not been determined at 101325 Pa but at 101410 - 101760 Pa. However, this subtle distinction is not expected to have a significant impact and the value was therefore inserted above.
