Clinical signs:
Scabs were seen in the treated skin-area of one animal during the observation period.
Flat posture, piloerection and chromodacryorrhoea (snout) were noted among the animals.
The animals had recovered from the symptoms by Day 2.

The mean body weight gain during the observation period was within the range expected for rats used in this type of study.
Gross pathology:
No abnormalities related to the test substance were found at macroscopic post mortem examination of the animals.
